Summary

I was born and brought up in Delhi. Psychology was primarily a subject I chose to avoid math in high school. My interest in psychology was piqued after learning how psychology plays an important role in our everyday lives. In light of the stigma attached to mental health and related illnesses, I felt it was extremely important to raise awareness and pursued a psychology degree from the University of Delhi (2018) and post-graduation in Clinical Psychology from Amity University in 2020.

I have worked as a psychologist in organizational and criminal settings. I have conducted individual, couple, and group counseling sessions. From adolescents to geriatric clients, I addressed issues such as stress, anxiety, relationship problems, marital problems, grief, loneliness, behavioral problems, aggression, family dynamics, and so on.

To further build my expertise, I pursued a Diploma in Art Therapy from Asha the Hope Foundation. I learned about various art-based tools, art analysis, intervention planning through art, and body chakras. All this experience has provided me with the opportunity to develop new therapeutic skills and screen them for any mental illness and/or drug abuse.

Furthermore, I became proficient in using MSE and taking a case history.

I have conducted sessions online through audio, video calls, and chat. My training in active listening skills has equipped me with the skills to identify and help my clients deal with daily life hassles in a competent manner.
