Hi, I am Rohini - a mental health professional based out of Mumbai. I have completed my Master's in Clinical Psychology under Mumbai University and have experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults on a variety of topics. I use an eclectic approach in my practice as a mental health professional.

I completed my internship at the 'International School of Counseling and Holistic Studies'. I have a year of experience in School Counseling. As a 'School Counselor', I was responsible for working with students of all ages. I was also responsible for providing support to the staff members and parents.

As a result, I have experience providing support to people of all age groups; especially children and adolescents. I have actively worked with people on their adjustment issues, anxiety issues, anger management, and stress-related issues. I have also provided support to those who have learning disabilities.

Time management and communication skills are areas I like to work on with my clients. In addition to this, I also have experience working on emotional and behavioral problems.

As a psychologist, I provide a comfortable, non-judgmental, and empathetic space for the people I work with. My goal is to provide support and create non-dependency in my clients. Hence, I like to mix 'Mindfulness' in my sessions. So, clients can expect to come across all these various aspects in my sessions.

I also like to integrate aspects of art into my counseling sessions. This is because art can provide perspective and a sense of release. Thus, artistic and expressive activities have become an important part of the work I do.

Lastly, I believe that counseling and therapy are collaborative efforts between mental health professionals and their clients. Therefore, a client's belief and support are of utmost importance. Therefore, my long-term goal is to psycho-educate people about mental health and psychology.
